Sibridge launches Industry’s First OVM compliant Gigabit Ethernet Verification IP in SystemVerilog
To enable reduced time-to-verification for Ethernet SoCs with comprehensive solution
Fremont, California, March 17, 2008: Sibridge Technologies, a leading provider of verification-to-validation solutions for chips companies, today announced the release of the industry’s first native SystemVerilog (SV) Verification IP (VIP) for 10/100/1Gb Ethernet. The Sibridge Ethernet SV VIP combines the power of open SystemVerilog with the recently launched Open Verification Methodology (OVM) to provide verification engineers with the most scalable and cost-effective Ethernet verification solution.
The Ethernet VIP sports a host of advanced features like:
- OVM 1.0 and AVM 3.0 compatibility
- IEEE standard 802.3 Ethernet compliance suite
- Support for MAC and PHY interface verification
- Flow control through pause frames
- Verified against shipping Ethernet DUT
In order to provide a comprehensive Ethernet verification solution to customers, the Sibridge team has incorporated extended capabilities like full support for generation of all kinds of data frame errors and protocol errors, directed/random/constrained testing modes, and configurable payloads including IPv4/6.
